The Physicality of Sound

The workshop explores the various ways of sound production in close relation to the physical aspect of the musicians movement.

The participants are centred in the process of discovery. Through open physical and sound improvisation exercises we will touch upon different practices always with the conscious understanding of our main goal – finding ways to express our own individual sense, finding our own voice and perceiving the outcome by intuitively reacting to the momentum. By being present we raise our awareness of the natural force leading the process of finding new relation between sound and movement. At the end of the workshop we will have an open performance with all participants. The workshop is suitable for musicians, actors, dancers and other performing artists.
